Mint Global Marketing has been the king of social media and internet marketing for decades at this point. They’ve seen it all and have created and implemented countless strategies.
Mint Global Marketing works every day to perfect the branding of businesses, influencers, and entrepreneurs alike and has picked up countless tricks through their experience. I asked the Mint Global Marketing experts if they’d be willing to share some tips for taking full advantage of social media, and they were more than happy to share.
Here’s the blueprint that they laid out for me, and I hope that you can put it to good use.
Research your Audience and Hang Out Where They Do
I’m not saying you need to be on absolutely every single social media platform, but you should be on as many as possible, especially if your customers or audience hangs out there. Even if only 5% of your target audience hangs out on Reddit, you should have a Subreddit and make posts occasionally, if anything, just to see what that portion of your audience is thinking.
This goes hand in hand with another piece of advice that Mint Global Marketing shared with me; you cannot target everyone. Have a target audience and hit them as hard as you can.

Diversify your Social Media Platform Focus
Now, as I said, you should be on as many social media platforms as possible, but this doesn’t mean you should put the same amount of effort into each platform. This just isn’t viable unless you’re a billion-dollar corporation.
Now, if 5% of your audience uses Reddit, you should put 5% of your effort into that platform. You should also weigh more than just the number of people. If only 5% of your audience uses Reddit, but that 5% is extremely active and purchases your products / interact with your posts, then you can focus more effort there.
Diversify your Posts and Media
Do not just make boring, bland, carbon copy posts every single day. You should post daily and have a posting schedule, but your posts should be unique and engaging.
Don’t just post product after product. Post fun videos, thought-provoking questions, aesthetic images, etc. Mint Global Marketing says that one of the most common mistakes they see from businesses and influencers is repetitive posts that do nothing but advertise.
Be a Part of The Community
Playing off of the last piece of advice, you want your audience to know you’re a part of the community and are there to do more than sell them things. There are many ways to do this; interact with your audience and influencers in the community, host charity drives and events, and voice your opinion on news and happenings going on in the community you’re targeting.
Take Advantage of Influencer Marketing
Influencer marketing is king, and it’s here to stay. Take advantage of this strategy while it’s affordable.
Mint Global Marketing says that influencer marketing is one of the best ROIs any business can find at the moment, but it won’t be long before it becomes more expensive. However, they believe that influencers are going to be around for as long as the internet is, and they will always be a great resource for building brand legitimacy.
